Despite being considered an undesirable mix, this goat has found a new lease on life at Bella Hampton Farm Foundation. His gentle eyes reflect the hope and gratitude that come with the opportunity for a forever home, where he can thrive and be cherished for the rest of his days.
Sabanero is a charming miniature donkey rescued from an overcrowded location where he lived with over 15 other animals on just one acre of land. This hindered their freedom to roam and explore. His previous owner couldn't provide adequate care or nourishment for him. Due to their limited commercial value, donkeys are often abandoned or sent to slaughter. When Sabanero was rescued, he had a leg that had previously suffered an injury. So, as a protector, he is limited.
